John Deere Launches AI Assistant to Help Farmers Analyze Farm Data and Operations
John Deere has launched a new AI chatbot called "JD" inside its Operations Center app, allowing farmers to ask questions about farm data and operations.
The rapid growth of autonomous AI agents is creating a new cybersecurity market, with startup AIR raising $50 million to help companies monitor and secure AI agents operating inside their organizations.
AIR's platform is designed to identify AI agents running within companies, continuously evaluate the skills and add-ons they use, and block unwanted or potentially dangerous capabilities.
The funding comes as businesses increasingly allow AI agents to access software, data and internal systems.
Recent incidents involving autonomous AI systems have increased concerns that an AI agent with excessive permissions could perform actions that were never intended by its human operators.
The emerging AI-agent security industry is therefore becoming an important part of the broader cybersecurity market.
